YOUTH CAMP ORGANIZED IN SEVAGRAM


A National Youth Camp was organized in Sevagram from 24 to 28 December by Sarva Seva Sangh, Sevagram Ashram Pratishtan and Mumbai Sarvodaya Mandal.  The Camp was attended by about 70 participants from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.  The Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ulhas Jaju who exhorted the youth to adopt Gandhian values for better society.  He emphasised the need for Swadeshi, Khadi in daily lives.  We should live simply and Happily he said.  The Inaugural Function was Presided over by Shri Mahadev Vidrohi President of Sarva Seva Sangh

 The Camp coordination was done by Prashant Gujar and Bajrang bhai.  The object of the Camp was to introduce Gandhian ideology to the Youth.  The components of the Camp consisted of Prayer, Yoga, Pranayama, Shramadan, sports and games, cultural programmes in addition to classes and discussions.

The inaugural was attended by Shri Jayawant Mathkar, President of Sevagram Ashram, Sriram Jhadav, Secretary of the Ashram, Smt. Shobha Shiradonkar, Secretary of Sarva Seva Sangh.
