SEVAGRAM ASHRAM PRESIDENT VISITS WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT

Shri Jayawant Mathkar, President Sevagram Ashram Pratishtan visited Gandhi Mandiram in Tadepalligudem West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh on 10 December 2015.  On that occasion tricycles were distributed to physically challenged persons.  Smt Usha Gokani, Grand daughter of Mahatma Gandhi and Shri Shankar Bagade, former President of Maharashtra Sarvodaya Mandal participated in the event.





The Team visited Nidadavole in West Godavari District.  They garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the centre of the town and visited Charla Ganapati Sastri Old Age Home run by Charla Vidula and Mrudula who were devoted Gandhians and belong to Freedom fighters' family.


Mallavaram in West Godavari District has a Gandhi Ashram (Near Chagallu Railway Station on Chennai - Kolkata train line) which was visited by Mahatma Gandhi.  The Ashram is run by Gandhi Smarak Nidhi.  Shri Jayawant Mathkar, Smt. Usha Gokani and Shri Shankar Bagade visited the Ashram.





Smt Usha Gokani visited Central Prison Rajahmundry and addressed the inmates of the Prison
