Sarvodaya Youth Camp March 16 & 17 organized

Second Sarvodaya Youth Camp was organized in 2011 at Swami Ramananda Tirtha Rural Institute, Jalalpur, Nalgonda District on March 16 & 17. This Camp was sponsored by Directorate of Youth Services. Dr. Sudarshan Reddy, Chairman, SRTRI, Sri Venugopal from the Directorate of Youth Services, Dr. Muralidhar, JVV, Dr. Veeraiah, Abdul Sattar, Sadiq, Sri Garimella Narayana, Sarvodaya leader, and others interacted with the participants who were drawn from 10 districts numbering about 80.

ON 13th March a few students from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University) in Tamil Nadu came and had a meeting with Sarvodaya in Hyderabad. Sri Prasad visited them in November 2009 for 3 days and had a number of meetings and discussions. They formed a Gandhi group in VIT. They are quite active and kept visiting, interacting. Three students from VIT came to Nellore during Sri Prasad's visit to Nellore on 28th February to Pinakini Satyagraha Ashram, Pallipadu and to the Nature Cure Centre in Leguntapadu village near Nellore.

After this meeting, Sri Prasad and Sri Kiran participated in the meeting of Jana Vignan Vedika and presented Sarvodaya approach to society.

Prasad and Dr. Muralidhar address B.Tech Students in Kurnool

On 1st March I went to Wanaparthy and had a meeting with a 'Core Group' organized by Dr. Muralidhar, Hon. President, Jana Vignan Vedika. This is my third visit to Wanaparthy to talk on Sarvodaya - philosophy and programme. We left for Kurnool in the afternoon and reached Praja Vaidya Sala in the outskirts of Kurnool, run by Dr. V. Brahma Reddy.

We addressed the B. Tech students from Brundavan Institute Technology and Sciences who had an orientation programme. Our presentations and discussions centred around present day situation in our society, problems and possible solutions and role of youth. The group is quite dynamic and are keen on participating in Sarvodaya Programmes.
