NATIONAL SEMINAR ON BUDDHISM
National Seminar on Cultural - Historical Sociological Evolutions of Buddhism was held for three days - May 25 - 27 at Haailand - Buddhism Theme Park, Chinakakani, Guntur District. Sri Prasad addressed this Seminar on 27th and spoke on Buddhist influences on Gandhian Thought. Sri Mandali Buddha Prasad, former Minister Chaired the Session. Sri MK Durga Prasad, Vice Chancellor, Krishna University, Machilipatnam, Sri Ilapuram Venkaiah, MLC, Sri Aditya Prasad, Station Director, All India Radio, Vijayawada, V.R. Rao, Chairman, AgriGold Group and many others were present.

Cycle Yatra for Economic Equality
Sarva Seva Sangh organized a Cycle Yatra from Gandhi Niketan Ashram, T.Kallupatti near Madurai in Tamil Nadu to Sevagram Ashram, Wardha, Maharashtra from December 20, 2009 to January 30, 2010. 40 youth from different states participated in this Yatra covering a distance of 2500 km through Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Programme at Bapughat on February 12, 2010
Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated on January 30, 1948 and cremated at Delhi on January 31. The ashes were immersed in Musi River on February 12 at Hyderabad and a monument was created, called Bapughat near Langarhouse. Functions are organized on February 12 every year at Bapughat with interfaith prayers, school children's programmes etc. Sri Prasad was addressing students from several schools on this occasion.

Meeting of Sarvodaya Network Sunday, May 16, 2010
It was decided to have a meeting of SARVODAYA NETWORK on 3rd Sunday of every month.
The meeting for May was organized on Sunday, May 16, 2010.
The meeting of SARVODAYA NETWORK was held at VMRG International in Venkataramana Colony, Khairatabad to discuss promotion of Swadeshi Products. Kiran Anumalasetty coordinated the event. Srinivasa Murthy who is an expert on Soap making and developed different varieties of Kutir Soap offered his technical support. Srinivas from Osmania University offered to take the message of Swadeshi to students of the University. Prasad informed the meeting of an exposure visit by 40 people from Metpalli Khadi Samithi to Sevagram - Wardha. Earlier, a team of two managers from this Khadi Institution visited Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Rural Industrialization (MGIRI) to learn modern techniques in Khadi.
Prasad outlined the approach for strengthening the Swadeshi products promotion. The effort will cover the following:
Khadi - cloth
Articles of daily use - soap, tooth powder, and other cosmetic goods from rural institutions
Food items - organic rice, pulses, jaggary etc.
Literature - books, CDs, other material from Sarvodaya.
In regard to the promotion of these,
1. We will work with 'Sarvodaya Institutions'
2. Motivate the staff of these institutions - exposure visits, training etc.
3. Technology improvement, quality upgradation, standardization, branding etc.
4. Marketing - schools, colleges, universities, public places associations, shops etc.
5. Welfare of the families associated with these institutions - farmers, spinners, weavers,
marketing personnel, office personnel etc.
Meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from Kiran.
