Prasad visited University of Rhode Island in Kingston and addressed 9th International Nonviolence Summer Institute on July 8. He was honoured with a citation as an "HONORARY KINGIAN NONVIOLENCE ADVOCATE FOR PROMOTING GLOBAL PEACE AND NONVIOLENCE EDUCATION"

His works are translated into many languages and is associated with a number of peace movements and conflict resolution initiatives around the world.
